What your role will be

As Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) , you will join the Wunder Mobility team during an exciting time of development! You will work within a cross-functional team to envision, design, and implement high-level solutions and technical requirements for our Fleet product. Our teams enjoy full ownership on a group of diverse projects which are part of our core product that manages thousands of sharing vehicles.

What you will do
  • Build and implement user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework. 

  • Work in a cross-functional team with a product owner, engineers, technical account managers and designer to implement new features and optimize existing features in frontend projects 

  • Work on technical concepts and our Angular-based architecture

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure high-performance of our platform

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with front end code 

  • Provide support for clearing issues and obstacles in the team

  • Test and monitor performance and contribute to technical decisions

  • Manage deployment of new releases 

  • Write and maintain technical documentation 

  • Identify UI challenges and bugs and devise elegant solutions

  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

  • Code reviews and debugging 

What you bring to the table
  • 4+ years of previous programming experience, excellent knowledge of frontend software development and architecture with good understanding of backend logic

  • Proven experience with JavaScript and frontend frameworks, preferably angular/react 

  • High motivation with an eagerness to learn and problem solve complex issues 

  • High attention to detail and a desire to maintain high quality and clean code while always striving to improve and make the development process faster  

  • In-depth understanding of the entire frontend development process (design, development and deployment)

  • Excellent communication skills in English

What gives you bonus points
  • Experience with different testing types/levels (unit/integration/E2E) 
  • Understanding of the big picture of server/client, architecture/relation 
  • Understanding or previous experience in backend technologies (preferable php / node js)
